I really liked this article by Jeet Heer. He describes in her work what I like most about working on Closed Caption Comics: the "invisible" nuance of editing, thinking about production values, and design that's especially fun when it's a mix of (very) different sensibilities. Also I love the New Yorker and I really liked this week's funky cover at the bottom of the article (by Richard McGuire). The first time I just thought "weird" and opened it up. I didn't "get" how funny and relevant it was until the second time I looked at it. Check it out.
