Oh, this happened last month but I forgot to post! Victoria and I went to Takarazuka, home of the legend himself, to see the Osamu Tezuka museum. It's a fabulous, small, fun museum. There were a lot of childhood drawings, souvenirs, and information about about his life; several rooms of original comic pages (complete with white-out and paste-in text); a make-your-own-anime workshop for kids (and foreigners), and even a lounge with undreds of books you can just sit down and read. In the middle of our visit we saw Mr. Tezuka hard at work. He took a break to pose for a photo. Thanks Mr. Tezuka, we love you!
